I made the background on this card using a watercolor wash technique using Blushing Bride Stampin' Ink Refill and Berry Burst Stampin' Ink Refill. It's very messy, but produces great results. You can google good tutorials on how to make a watercolor wash or follow my directions below:
- using your aqua painter spread a ton of water on watercolor paper (it should be dripping wet)
- drop ink drops onto the watercolor paper strait from the refill bottle and watch the ink spread
- use an Aqua Painter to help direct the ink if you have bare spots
- now let your watercolor cardstock dry (this will take some time)
For the rest of the card I used the Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set with Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad, Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad, and Berry Burst Stampin' Pad. Blushing Bride Cardstock and Powder Pink Ribbon to finish this look.
