Hi Everyone. These are the wonderful little tags we made for holiday christmas packages this evening. Everyone that was here made 8 of each tag. We all had a good time. I hope the recipiants of the gifts enjoy the tags as much as we enjoyed making them. Combine that with technique class' homemade bows and what a beautiful package wrapped up to give away! Happy weekend everyone. Love Laurie

This card calls for a little retail therapy. How is everyone doing on their Christmas shopping? I think I am doing well. I am done with Sophie, We are buying a big item for Dennis and Clair and all I have to do is push the "place order" button. I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what to buy my wonderful husband........Normally it is no problem. This year no hints.....Gift cards are so impersonal for your spouse but...that is probably just exactly what he would like from Lowes or Menards. (or some other tool store). Well, I am off to dream about that. Happy Saturday.
Laurie.

Puttin' on the glitz

Here is your MONDAY card. I designed this last night. I am incorporating the tag punch star into technique class for December, so I thought I should brush up on making them. I absolutely LOVE the "ski slope" paper. OH MY GOSH.....I added a felt snowflake, white taffata ribbon, sizzix snowflake die cut with tons of glitter and a plain jane silver snowflake brad to hold it all together. Came out pretty glizy.....Oh...by the way the cardstock is Baja breeze and white. Make sure you sign up for Technique class in December so you can learn how to make these awesome tag punch stars!! Fondly, Laurie

Christmas Card Class number 3

This is such a pretty card. We used Kraft CS, Riding Hood Red CS and vanilla for the skaters. We collage stamped with different stamps in Chocolate chip using the "Winter Post" Stamp set. The ribbon can be found in the Holiday Mini catalog. It is beautiful and very easy to work with. The ribbon itself is riding hood red and vanilla stripped. Well worth the money in my opinion. We used chalk to color the skaters. Popped up with dimensionals. Enjoy the cards, of coursed we missed all of you who were not able to be with us. Have a phenomenal week. Love l.
Rudoph here was a great HIT! With his cute little pom pom nose. this is REAL red, chocolate chip and Kraft CS. Chocolate chip ink. Background was stamped with the TWILL BG stamp. And just a touch of real red grossgrain ribbon. This card used the "snow swirled" tree and snowflake for the top of the tree. We stamped in Baja Breeze and "rock and rolled" in Not quite navy.....(very nice if I dont say so myself") then we used a rhinestone brad (clear) from the "Pretties Kit". The DSP is from the "Ski Slope" collection.....We also used Baja Breeze, Whisper White and Not Quite Navy CS. Here we used "A wish for Peace" stamp set. Used Basic Gray CS, Whisper White and Shimmer White. Awesome CS for this time of year. Adds a little shimmer with no extra product. The background was a new standard wheel called Jolly also stamped in basic gray. We just inked up an empty cartridge with the gray reinker......Everyone really liked this one. Here I used Elegant Eggplant CS with Whisper White and Brushed Gold. Monochromatically stamped with Elegant Eggplant Classic Ink. Stamp set was "Snow Burst". Eggplant ribbon of course. Had fun at 20 for 20 today.
