Hi Ladies.  I almost forgot to post the awesome projects we did in Big Shot class for January.  Enjoy. 

Friday Night with Sophie

  

Tonight was my evening to spend with Sophie.  For those of you who dont know her....she is my five year old grand daughter....she LOVES to stamp and Cook with me.   Tonight our project was to design and make her valentines for her class.  We needed just 20 small cards plus 3 for teachers and para-pros.   So this is what we came up with.  She stamped hugs and kisses on the inside along with her name with her brand new "Sophie"stamp.  Not every little girl wants or needs her very own name stamp.  This one does, trust me.  

We will be making valentines for just one more week.  It is one of my favorite holidays to make cards for.....

WOW Product Class.....January is Adhesives

 Today we are learning about different types and uses for Stampin Up Adhesives.  My participants are purchasing a package of adhesives and coming to class to use them and make FREE cards.  We are using the following today:  Sticky Strip, Tombow Liquid Glue, Two way glue pen, Demensionals and Crystal Effects.
Here are the two cards they are making for FREE.  They also have the option to make additional cards for a BUCK each....Now that is a WOW!

Gettysburg at Dusk

 I SOOOOOOOOOOO forgot to post any photos of my trip to Pennsylvania.  Jan, Linda and I went to Gettysburg the Monday before I returned home.  Here are my ABSOLUTELY two favorite photos.  The one is a HUGE monument in the middle of the battlefield.  The other is just at dusk looking through the trees.  Its hard for me to image that I actually took these photos.....I thought they were awesome.  It was a very humbling day to say the least.  The battle field is MASSIVE and extensive.  The museum is educational and INTERESTING.  Until next time.

Here are the GREAT projects we made tonight for BIG SHOT class. 

We used a variety of Big Shot products.  We learned how to use the Multipurpose

Adhesive sheets tonight for the card w/stars and glass glitter.  That looked great.

The ornament is beautiful and vintage...mine was in one of the green fabrics.  Love that Technique

with the wooden frame to leave the "unembossed" middle of the card.  Catch up with us next month.  Attend class, have a special price for products that are used during class, but you must attend for the special.

Technique class for December! WOW!!

 Here are the four techniques we did for class this month.  We have Faux Pointsetia, Painting with Embossing Powder, Snowglobe cards (which look AWESOME  in person) and Stamping and Embossing with Shimmer Paint.  Hope you enjoy them as much as I did.  Love Laurie

December WOW stamp class.

 WOW class was awesome tonight.  It was nice and quiet.  Small crowd tonight.  Everyone loved the three great cards we did.  Lots of Holiday parties going on this weekend.  Tomorrow is stamp camp from 1-6 or so.  We are doing 7 projects.  Will post pictures of that tomorrow or Sunday.  Then sunday we will be doing Technique Class.  Busy Busy Weekend.  Cant wait to see everyone.   Enjoy the cards!

RAD trip at Jans house 2010

Here is a photo of all of us at the Victorian Tea Parlor.  WE had  HIGH TEA.  It was FABULOUS!!  Jan you are the best.  There are 15 of us, scrappin, card making and crafting.  It is a stamp in your jammies, no pressure, all day/night pj party.  Quiet time is from 2am until 6am....Jan is the walking dead......I should have photographed her sleeping in the purple office chair!!!  OMG.  More soon.....
